I'm no expert (far from it) on the middle east situation and it's
history, but isn't it a fact that the land of Israel originally belonged
to the Jews? which would make the Palestinians the occupiers. well
before the time of Christ the land now known as Israel was called
Canaan, and was settled by Jews ruled by King David, so well predating
any Palestinian claim to it.

The land was owned by the Canaanites (consisting of various ethnic
groups) but according to the Jews it was promised to them by god so they
moved north out of Egypt and helped themselves to it.

That's one version, in another version they were always there living
among other groups.

The first version seems pretty consistent with what they have been doing
with their illegal settlement in modern times however.

get *exported* by the extremists. That will force you to take sides.
There is no neutral ground when extremists, terrorists by another name,

The Jews were kicked out of Palestine by the Romans in AD70, that's 1877
years before the Jews declared it to be theirs again. It's only less
that 200 years since the aboriginals were kicked out of where you live.
So, on that basis, the aboriginals have more of a right over where you
live than the Jews do over Israel.

There is also some evidence, I believe, that the modern Israelis are not
descended from the Palestinian Jews, but from some other group. I don't
think that it has been determined and, obviously, Israel has no interest
in pursuing that line of inquiry.
