Any boinc users having a problem with the new release? Using version
7.24.1.
I get a message that boincmgr cannot start a boinc-client, but attempts
to do so terminate with a -192 error message, which I think is to do
with write permissions on client_state.xml. My attempt to make it
writeable result in its replacement with a read-only version.

Mageia 9 got a review in the Distrowatch Weekly newsletter of
yesterday. It was not great so best to go defend it against the
reviewer or have the developers read it and get some clues.
