The Bookmark icon in Toolbar is now hidden in the Bookmark Menu. You
need first enable Bookmark Menu, then right-click the Bookmark icon and
Pin it to the toolbar.

Huh. I don't recall what its default location had been. I've had it at
the right side of the addressbar for as long as I can remember. I
thought that was the default location.

If you started a new profile, you might not find it in the usual
Customize menu. I dunno when it was moved.
