at the section of the Battle of Salamis my Firefox does not
display the (Facebook) video. I use the AdBlock Plus extension
that blocks the PDF viewer adds, which is what I want. Still
after I disabled it, this video does not appear. Why?

I only use whatever is the default for FF, and I don't see any facebook
video. There is a blank space bettween "Greek from further invasion"
and "Had the Greeks not won tthe battle". Is that where you see it?

Running the cursor though that area, no link appears at the bottom. Do
you see a link? How do you know there even is a fb video?

Sorry. Farther down, below "history as we know it", I did find the FB
video. I played it and it started to play and then it disappeared.

I had scrolled up and when I scrollled back down and put the cursor
where the progress bar should be, the progress bar showed up. When I
clicked Pause, adverts for other videos showed up. When I clicked Play,
the area above the bar went blank again. You don't say what you've seen.
Regardless, I think t his means it's the fault of the page or the
program, not your box. Have you tried Chrome or Edge?

Works here just fine. I use uBlock Origin at defaults.

Do you Javascript disabled in Firefox, or using NoScript? Right-click
on the video frame in the web page. One entry is Account. Maybe you
must be concurrently logged into your Youtube account to view this
video. I can right-click and Copy URL which points to:

https://youtu.be/GLrvdWZCwkI

Can you watch the video there? The site is using a script to point at
the YT video instead of using a direct link. Not sure why you think the
video is sourced at Facebook. It's at Youtube.

By "not appear" do you mean the video frame in the web page is blank
(just whitespace), or there is the first frame of the video, but
playback won't start?

Besides add-ons to block content or resources, Firefox has its own
blocking. At about:preferences#privacy, what did you select for
Enhanced Tracking Protection? Mine is set to Standard (default).

Have you tried flushing all locally cached data in Firefox (clear all
history items), and then exit and reload Firefox to load a new and fresh
copy of the web page?

I have a Facebook Container in Firefox. I do not see anything from Facebook.

Also I have the addon "Duckduckgo Privacy Essentials" in Firefox,
which also blocks all things from Facebook.
They agree with me that Facebook doesn't give a shit about my privacy,
which is why I do not want any connection with Facebook.

If people want to give all their things (f.e. privacy and photo's) to
Zuckerberg, they may, but I am not gonna see it.
