Hi,

I running Emacs 27.1 on Debian 11 and being obliged to interact with
Atlassian Confluence.

Normally I use the "Edit with Emacs" extension with Firefox, but the
window which opens when I click on "Source Editor" doesn't seem to be a
text box, so the little 'edit' button which allows me to edit via "Edit
with Emacs" does not appear.

I have tried eww and w3e but I can't sign into Confluence with them
(name and/or password incorrect), presumably because of some Javascript
issues.

Does anyone have any ideas about how to proceed?

Cheers,

Loris

I would probably use the API to create some kind of wrapper
for Emacs:

https://developer.atlassian.com/server/confluence/confluence-server-rest-api/

Seems like it is possible to update pages with this.
