A few days ago FF started popping up a "phantom" instance of FF.
Whenever I open FF, what appears to an older instance with different
tabs opens and then the instance that I'm currently using, with my
current open tabs will pop open over it almost instantly.

To be clear, there is only the one instance of FF that stays
open...the current one. Does anyone know why I am getting the phantom
opening and then disappearing?
