I've just got home from a trip Castle Cary/Paddington//Euston/Glasgow
return.

The first train arrived at Paddington just over 15 minutes late and
the guard/train manager/whoever was telling people to claim delay
repay. I still made my connection at Euston which arrive in Glasgow on
time.

I had a through, return ticket, no advance, no split.

The question is can I still claim and if I can how is the repayment
calculated?

You were on time at your final destination, so no claim possible. The
guard's announcement was for people whose final destination was
Paddington.
