United Energy have said there will be a power outage here tomorrow for 6
hours. Do i have to turn off / disconnect the solar gear on the roof? TIA

Unless your inverter comes with instructions specifically telling you to
do so, then no. They're generally designed to factor mains grid power
loss into their normal operation and handle it just fine.

No because it will turn itself off when the grid goes down and back on
when the grid is on again.
There will still be DC voltage at the inverter but the inverter will be
off so no danger to anyone.

Thanks guys, Yep, just going to leave it alone. Wife and I will go out
for lunch, and then by the time we're done, the juice should be back on.
