yeah not too sure what happened there... when I got around the corner, i
got him on the uhf.. he apologised, said something about the traffic...
I have a feeling he was doing a shifty.. The road is a 5k short-cut
around the back of Sale, that was an awefully long un-placarded load,
and he would have struggled going around that corner on the *correct*
side of the island... The traffic island is only new.. 12 months old, so
perhaps he wasnt expecting it... Prolly should have had a pilot AND gone
through Sale. If he was doing a shifty, he should have waited till
clear, and just driven OVER the traffic island. :-D

I looked at the video and saw he had an extendible trailer that was
pulled out to 15 mtrs and though maybe the turn was too tight for him,
and if that's the case then he probably should have had an escort with
him. But after reading your comments here it seems he was just another
impatient fucktard who thinks he owns the road and can do whatever he
likes.

Could also have been caught out by his sat nav sending him the wrong
way, easy to get into a bad situation in a large truck if you don't know
where you are going.
I drove to Adelaide last week for a funeral and several times Google
Maps took us what appeared to be the wrong way, we eventually ended up
in the right place but instead of directing us onto main roads we seemed
to be on back roads.
I was navigating to a hotel and the map directed me straight past it
into an industrial area, we found the hotel by just stopping and having
a good look around so its easy to get confused by your sat nav.
