The local topography provided significant variations in the
weather this morning, ranging from heavy drizzle (at 1000Z)
to thick fog (at 1030Z) and sunshine (1135Z in particular).
A 'drizzle bow' was observed at 1135Z. Cloudy with a sunny
interval at 1245Z and further outbreaks of generally slight
drizzle this afternoon, recently becoming gloomy. There has
been no fog since midday, although St is capping the downs.
Visibility varying wildly between very poor and very good
this morning. Wind W'ly F4. Sea state slight to moderate.
RH 96%. Rainfall (0900-1500Z) 0.8mm. Max temp so far 10.8
